Today we woke up early and took 2 long train rides in the subway to the biggest Presbyterian church in the whole world (Myungsung Presbyterian Church). They have over 100 thousand members of the church. They had about a 40 piece orchestra and a 500 person choir so the music was amazing. When we first got there we asked for the English headphones so that we could understand what they were saying. They went to find the headphones and then introduced us to the woman who was in charge of interpretation. Ashton flipped through all of the channels on the headphone receiver and found that they had 6 different languages translated live which is pretty impressive. The whole building was huge and very pretty. I also really liked the flowers at the front of the sanctuary. Everybody was so nice to us and made us feel really welcome. The service was 1 hour and 5 minutes long which is pretty much the same as in the U.S. After the service we walked around to the front of the building and took a picture. It was very hot and sunny so we decided to go to lunch. I got a big sandwich. Then we took the subway to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza & Park which is a big building made of metal that has a very unique shape. Inside of the building there was shopping and museums. We also went on the roof of the building and took pictures. Then we went back to our house and got some bags for grocery shopping. We went to the grocery store and then we went back to our house until dinner. After dinner we went to the river walk which is a sidewalk next to a river that is really pretty. In the river there were a bunch of ducks and a heron-like bird. There were also a lot of performers making music. Then we took the metro back to our stop but instead of going home we went and got waffles. I got a strawberry, whipped cream, and nutella in my waffle and it was really good. Then we went home for the night.
