Today we woke up early and took the metro to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Our tour guide said that originally the palace was made up of over 500 buildings but since it was destroyed and reconstructed twice it didn’t have as many. In the palace there were many people wearing traditional Korean clothing which we found interesting. They also held a reenactment of the changing of the guard while we were there. Afterwards we went to lunch and walked to The National Folk Museum of Korea. It was filled with writing and objects to showcase the past and modern life of Korean people. Next we went to a sculpture park with a wildflower garden on the way home. Once we got home we hung around until dinner and went to bed.
