Today we woke up early and walked to a catholic church. When we got there we realized that it was closed and being renovated so we walked across the street to the old post office building. It had a bunch of stores selling jewelry and other stuff. I liked that they still had all of the phone booths. Then we walked over to the War Remnants Museum. First we looked at all of the airplanes, cannons, and other big machines left behind by America in the war. Then we walked through the jail cells that they held prisoners in during the war. Then we walked through the big museum that had a bunch of bombs, guns, and other weapons on display. After walking through the whole museum I was just thinking how brutal the whole war was in Vietnam. In the museum it had a bunch of pictures from the war and they each had little description underneath that all sounded terrible. Then we walked to a gluten-free bakery for lunch and then we went home. We did some homeschooling for a while and wrote our blogs. Then we started heading out the door to go to the old Saigon Opera House to watch a show. [The A.O. Show] It started pouring so we decided to just take a grab. When we got there they gave us some welcome drinks and plastic bags to put our raincoats in. We got our tickets and headed to our seats. The show was very good. It had a lot of impressive stunts. Then we got dinner and went home.
