We are setting off tonight on the next big adventure. With the start of spring break for the kids, we have UNENROLLED them from their public schools and converted them to “homeschool” kids for the remainder of the semester. We are pretty sure they will learn more on the trip than sitting in a classroom, and we plan to supplement with some math, science, reading, and writing (this blog will be mostly written by the kids). We fly this evening to Southeast Asia for 3 months in our next worldwide experience. We have 4 countries planned: Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea.
The first part is hopefully the hardest. We have a direct non-stop flight from Houston, Texas USA all the way to Taipei, Taiwan. It is 17-hours. To put that in perspective, most of you will go to bed tonight, wake up and go to work tomorrow, then come home and we will STILL be in the air. I assume we will be so exhausted from the flight that the first update may be delayed a day, but please subscribe to updates or check back often. We can’t wait to share!
