This morning we drove a couple of hours to Bosnia & Herzegovina so we added another country to add to our list! We drove to the top of one of the mountains and went on a really cool lookout that had a glass bottom so it looked like you were floating in mid-air. The views were beautiful and you could see the small town of Mostar below and all of the other mountains. It was really high up but it was still really hot. Apparently, all of Europe is having a big heatwave which makes sense because of how hot it’s been.
Then we hopped back in the car and drove an hour to these really cool waterfalls. On the way, we stopped to see the Mostar Old Bridge. Then we got back in the car and ate lunch and then headed back on the road to the waterfalls.
The base of the waterfalls you could swim in and they were soooo cold. Especially because the outside temperature was really hot (102F). There were a lot of fish that Ashton liked trying to catch with his hands. There was also a big cave that we climbed into that had a small waterfall inside.
When we got too tired we drove back to Split, Croatia and ate dinner at a Chinese place on the roof of a building with a really nice view of the sunset.
