We are now in Zagreb, Croatia. We got here really late last night. This morning we took a walking tour of the city. We saw lots of pretty parks. One of the parks had a big tall fountain in the middle of it. In all of the parks, they had a lot of different types of flowers.
Then we went to the Museum of Broken Relationships. Unlike an art museum, it had a bunch of different objects and each object had its own story. There were a bunch of shoes, dresses, and other really random things.
After the museum, we were all really hungry so we went to this place called Heritage Croatian Street Food. The restaurant was all local food. We sat outside to look at all the cool buildings around us. We all split a plate of prosciutto that came with olives and bread. I got a sandwich that had prosciutto, lettuce, tomato, and olive oil. Ashton got a fish sandwich and my mom got a salad. My dad shared some of each of our meals.
When we were at one of the parks this morning we saw a street festival that was closed so we asked what it was and when it would open. She said that it was open each night so we went there when it got dark out. It was really fun. There were a lot of different restaurants but most of them only sold drinks. We played badminton and a few other games with a few girls that were also at the festival. I got a strawberry and banana smoothie and Ashton got a lemonade. Then we went back home and got ready for bed.
