Today we mostly packed up to leave Bucharest, Romania…but not without a bit of fun. We went to the park by our apartment and rented a paddleboat on the lake. We also got poutine for lunch (while this is probably more of a Canadien dish…it was delicious, and still somehow something we have not quite found back home). The flight was a quick 2 hours, but was the kids’ first time on a turboprop plane, so that was fun. Our apartment in Budapest is very nice but also tiny…and seems to be located quite well. There are easily 50 restaurants within a short walk (including several right under us) and there seems to be a vibrant nightlife all around. Hopefully, we manage to sleep through most of the party 🙂
