Peles Castle
This morning we woke up really early and got in the car on a 2-hour car ride to a bunch of cool castles in the mountains. The first castle we went to was called Peles Castle. It was probably the most fancy castle that we went to today. It had a bunch of knights in shining armor. It also had a lot of really fancy woodwork, chandeliers, and mirrors.

Cantacuzino Castle (Wednesday)
Then we went to my favorite castle of the day because it was where they filmed some parts of Wednesday Adams. We went on a guided tour of the inside of the castle which had nothing to do with Wednesday because they only filmed outside. This castle had a lot of paintings on the walls and was much smaller inside but outside it was much bigger. We got to take pictures at some of the spots where they filmed some scenes like the swings.
Bran Castle (Dracula’s castle in Transylvania)
Then we went to Dracula’s castle which looked a lot older. There were a lot of balconies overlooking the gardens that were very beautiful. Then we also went into an exhibit called the torture exhibit. It had a bunch of really painful stuff in it. We learned a lot of history in this part. We also learned what each tool was used for.
