Another day with 2 perspectives:
By awesome Ashton
This morning we went to the park near our house to pass the time before we went to the parliament building. At the park, I looked at all of the plants and animals in the water and climbed trees.
Once it was time to go to the parliament for our reservation we took a taxi to the main entrance but then we found out that we had to walk all the way around the building to enter. Then they wouldn’t let us in because there was a protest going on around the parliament. Once the protest was over we got to go inside and see the building. During the tour, we got to see a ton of interesting rooms with amazing artwork. When the tour was over we were all exhausted but then the tour guide said that we only saw 6% of the building because the rest of the building was off-limits to tourists. After we went to the natural history museum we saw lots of plants and animals. Once we were tired and we had finished the main part my mom and my sister went straight to the park while my dad and I got a ticket for the snake exhibit and went through the exhibit as quickly as we could. Then we went to the park to pass the time before Andrei took us to dinner at the 18th-floor restaurant. At the park, we sat and watched the ducks in the pond. Then Andrei drove us to the office building. The 18th floor is a very fancy restaurant at the top of the office building. The dinner was amazing and I loved my burger.

Morning
This morning we went to a park that had a lake in it. Ashton spent a lot of time looking for fish in the lake while my mom and I were walking along the path next to him. While we were doing that my dad was sitting on a bench reading right next to the lake. Then we walked back to where my dad was and decided on where to go for lunch.
Lunch
We decided to go to a Chinese restaurant for lunch because it was well-rated and nearby to where we were. I got rice noodles with beef, spring rolls, and water. I think that they were very yummy so I decided to eat some of my mom’s because she was full. The spring rolls were good but they had too much dough and not enough filling.
The People’s Palace
After we went to lunch we took a taxi to the People’s Palace also known as the parliament building. But we had been dropped off at the wrong entrance and so we had to walk all the way around to the other side of the building. Did you know that it’s the fourth biggest building in the entire world? Then we went inside and waited for Ruth (Andrei’s daughter) to join us and started the tour. It was all very big and beautiful. Our guide told us about a lot of the history of the building. My favorite thing was the huge marble stairs that were all over the building.
Natural History Museum
We left the parliament building and went on the metro to the natural history museum where Andrei picked up Ruth. The science museum has a lot of stuff about animals. And there was an exhibit on snakes that my mom and I did not want to go in so instead we went to a park that was right next door and my brother and dad looked at snakes and then met us there. Then we hung out there for a little while until Andrei came to pick us up for dinner.
Dinner
When we got there we went up this tall building to the 18th floor to go to a restaurant that could look out at the city. It was very beautiful. I got some of my mom’s steak, a caesar salad, and a strawberry banana smoothie. Then we came back home and got ready for bed.
